UPCOMING EVENTS

Starting Point

Interested in membership at UPBC? Join our next Starting Point class starting on September 20 at 9:30 AM. It is a six-week course that meets in the back classroom of the Fellowship Hall. Email gabby@upbchouston.org if you plan to attend.

Men’s Bible Study

Our Fall Men’s Bible Study starts on Wednesday, October 7, at 7 PM. It is a 5-week study over John 13-17, the Upper Room Discourse. CLICK HERE to sign up online. You can also sign up on the back table. Location: Fellowship Hall, back classroom

Women’s Book Club

The next Women's Book Club gathering is coming up on September 26 at 6:30 PM! They will be discussing “The Well Water Women” by Gretchen Saffles. Please note the location change: they will be meeting at La Madeline in Sugar Land. RSVP online HERE or at the back of the sanctuary.

Young Adult Hang Out

Our next young adult hangout is Friday, September 25 at 6 PM. It will be at the Melton home. RSVP and get the address from gabby@upbchouston.org.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our Sunday school classes start again on July 12 at 9:30 AM! Here are the classes that will be available:

• Explore the Bible (all ages)- studying the Gospel of Matthew (Choir Room)

• Young Adults-studying the Gospel of Matthew (Upstairs - Classroom 1)

• UPBC Students (grades 7-12) - studying The Gospel Project (Upstairs - Classroom 2)

• UPBC Kids (ages 4 to grade 6) - studying The Gospel Project (Fellowship Hall)

• Nursery (infants to age 3)- studying The Big Book of Bible Stories for Toddlers (Temporarily in the Fellowship Hall)

• Starting Point - for those interested in membership at UPBC (Fellowship Hall - back classroom)

PRAYING TOGETHER

1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 encourages us to rejoice, pray continually, and give thanks always. At UPBC, we live this out by gathering regularly for prayer:

• Morning Prayer - Sundays at 8:45 AM (Choir Room)

• Corporate Worship - Sundays at 10:30 AM (Main Hall)

• Evening Prayer - 2nd & 4th Sundays at 5:00 PM (Fellowship Hall)

• Mid-Week Prayer - Thursdays at 12:00 PM (Zoom/Phone at upbchouston.org/mid-week-prayer)
