WPC Baby Bottle Bonanza

Join us in supporting Women's Pregnancy Center by participating in our Baby Bottle Bonanza! From Mother's Day to Father's Day, fill baby bottles with change, cash, or checks made to WPC to help provide life-affirming support to mothers and babies in need. Every coin makes a difference! Prayer Meeting

Join us June 22 at 5 PM as we gather to pray for our church, our city, and the world. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall. While we will be praying together, we will not have a potluck.

VBS (Summer Kids Camp)

Magnified! VBS will encourage kids to look closely at the details of God’s amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. We can praise God together! We were made to magnify God!

  • TIME: 6-8:30 PM

  • AGES: pre-school to sixth grade

  • LOCATION: UPBC Fellowship Hall

Drop your child off, or stay for a Bible study especially designed for parents. Your little ones will be in loving hands - all our volunteers have undergone child volunteer and abuse awareness training, as well as criminal background checks.

VBS Volunteer Sign Up

If you are interested in serving in any capacity, please sign up here (Youth helpers 7th Grade and up). Whether you’re able to join us all 4 days, or for a limited amount of time, we encourage anyone who is available to help. We will have a volunteer meeting June 8 after the service in the fellowship hall.

Some areas of need are: Arts and Craft, Music, Registration, Rec, Decoration, Promotion, Hospitality, Prayer Team, Nursery Childcare, and Security.

Campus Renewal Fund

Ephesians 2:22 says, “In [Christ] you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” Christ is building His house, which is the church. However, the church isn’t a building; it is a people. So then, our goal with the renewal fund is not simply to make a better meeting space. Our objective is to create a beautiful and hospitable environment where God's Word can be proclaimed and where God's people can be built up for years to come, even long after we are gone.

If you would like to contribute, please use the offering box located by the welcome table during the week or on Sunday. Please note "Campus Renewal" on your gift. If you prefer to give online, visit upbchouston.org/giving and select "Campus Renewal" from the list of funds.

UPBC Summer Mission Trip: Romania/Moldova

Interested in short-term missions, or seeing the Gospel spread throughout the world? Our church family is again planning to participate in a summer ministry in Romania and Moldova, from June 27th to July 9th. This short-term mission trip is open to both adults and Youth. Most of our time will be spent helping with a Children/Youth summer camp, similar to our VBS. There will be plenty of activities and tasks to help with, ranging from games, skits, crafts, music, cleaning, and talking with kids and adults at the camp. This trip is open to our Youth as well. The cost is approximately $3000. About 2/3rds of this cost will represent airfare. We encourage you to talk to family and friends to raise all or a portion of the support. Supporters and Members may send donations to UPBC with a designation of "Mission Trips ‘25" if led to contribute to this mission. If you are interested, please email daylon.piper@upbchouston.org

OneCamp Youth Camp - 7/14-7/18

Preparing you for the 360 days you are not at camp! Join us and other youth from the area as we look to the Scriptures to teach us to consider who we are, where we are going, and how we are going to get there. We will have a week of worship, rec, bible study and fun activities. Camp location is at The Baptist Encampment in Palacios, TX. Registration is now open (via Realm) to students entering 7th grade-graduating high school seniors. The cost is $140 per person; if cost is an issue, scholarships are available.
